Fender Passport Ven 2
As a portable PA system, this unit is solid! Bluetooth connectivity is quick, and strong. Multiple channels, super sound adjustability. I love it and will be using this for multiple uses in the future.

Buzzes and crackles at hi gain, can’t compete with the older model
I have used a succession of Passport 500 Pros for 20 years. They were (and still are) excellent PAs. Unfortunately, Fender quit making that model of Passport years ago, and they have become very hard to find. My 500 Pro has a couple of bad channels, and I decided to spend some money on a new one.I figured that even though the new 2021 Passport Venue Mark II had two FEWER XLR inputs as the 20 year old Passport 500 Pro, I could work around that. I figured at the VERY LEAST that the sound quality of the new 2021 Passport would equal the sound quality of the old Passport 500 Pro.Boy, was I wrong. At performance-level gain and volume, the Passport Venue crackles and distorts. I tried using different, larger, higher-rated passive JBL speakers, and there was no difference. Give it some volume, add gain to a mic channel, sing into it at regular performance level, and all of a sudden I sound like a damn robot.Just to make sure that I wan’t going insane, I switched it out with my old 500 Pro, using one of the remaining good channels, and set it up the same. Same mic, same speakers, same volume, same gain settings. The 20 year old unit sounded crystal clear, with no distortion. This was a regrettable, thousand dollar mistake on my part. I am going to have to try and sell it to someone who will only use it for speaking (not singing) engagements, and take a huge hit on it. I am very disappointed.Shame on you, Fender, for putting out this piece of garbage that cannot even compete with it’s 20 year old older brother.

Amazing value
Using it in a church hall; fills the space with sound perfectly. So easy to setup and use. So easy to lug away and store.Full range speakers, but needs a little help with the lows. This doesn’t surprise me though and I do not hold that against it. But you do need a powered sub-woofer to really fill out the sound. But can totally get by without it.

Would be nice to have a power cord!!
For the price you would think they could at least provide the power cord. Needed this in an emergency situation at work, sending it back since it’s useless without power.

Dead right out of the box
Stay clear of this junk.Dead out of the box. asked for a replacement and was informed that I have to take it to one of their service centers. Probably wouldn’t mind driving the 20 miles to take it to them, if it ever worked. Service has had it for over two months and still not working. Cannot get a response from anyone at Fender about getting a replacement. Total POS!
