Works Well for Older RCA Style ConnectionsThe RCA converter works well for being able to use older RCA jack equipment like DVD players, Video Game Consoles, etc. to connect to modern TV’s that no longer have RCA jacks and only have HDMI slots. The unit powers via a USB cable. The charger (plug-in) does not come with the USB cable but I used an open one on the back of the TV. A couple of things that I wish were better about this splitter. One, it says that it comes with a HDMI cable – it does not. Two, I wish that the RCA jacks were male instead of female – If they were male they could have plugged directly into the game console, but because they are female connections I had to use another cable (both male ends) to make the connection. There is a switch for 720P and 1080P format. I found the picture quality to be good and the splitter seems to be well made.

Duplicates but does not extendUPDATE 12/26/22 When the seller received my original 1 star review, they contacted me and were very apologetic even though it wasnβt their fault. They clearly state in the listing that it duplicates and not extends but I didnβt thoroughly read it. They mention it a few times in the listing but yet they were very kind to me and apologetic. They even offered me a full refund even though I didnβt have the box anymore. This is excellent, excellent customer service and I truly appreciate that. If you need to duplicate screens, definitely buy this product from the seller!12/23/22 Original review. I have 2 additional monitors for my laptop. I wanted to extend the screen (have 3 different screens) but this device will only duplicate the 1st monitor. It only has 1 signal output.

Just works1 HDMI goes in, 2 HDMI come out. Like Thunderdome, but backwards.I use this in an office for a pair of samsung 55″ screens, works with HDMI from the PC or MAC as well as MS widi adapter. Cheap simple device that does one job well.

Easy to use when trying to duplicate cable into another roomWife needed TV in sewing room, so this coupled with 25′ HDMI cable and Decent monitor made it easy. Been working for several months and wife is happy.

Improperly displayed important information. (Update: works intermittently)Unless you dig deeply you are unaware that this device requires an external power supply. This should be shown in every picture of the device especially in the ones showing how to hook it up. The information is shown but you have to dig to find it. I have not used the device yet but wanted to warn people that this is not an unpowered standalone device as is implied in the first picture you see.Update: I finally tried to hook up the device and it only works intermittently in my application. I tried calling the customer support telephone number and get a telephone company message that the call cannot be completed. I tried to access the manufacturer website and my web browser warns that it is not a secure site and poses a security threat.Amazon replaced the unit without question and I’m having different results from the second unit. With some help from the manufacturer who contacted me, I have determined that even though my ethernet to HDMI system works to put my video security system on my big screen TV, inserting the splitter between the converter and the HDMI input on the TV kills the signal. Further testing showed that an HDMI cable all the way from the NVR to the TV works with the splitter. It just doesn’t work with the HDMI output from the converter to the TV.

Thumbs UpCan always count on Amazon to purchase hard to find items. Unfortunately all stores were sold out but this purchased arrived quick and work as expected. Perfect for dual monitors when using PC or PS5.

Good and cheap – but buy a spareI use this to put karaoke lyrics from my notebook on two screens, one for the singer and one for the audience. The screen for the audience is usually installed on the wall at the venue and could be anything. I had tried several other splitters with mixed results, but this one works with all kinds of screens.The only issue is that it will eventually fail. But since It’s cheap, it’s easy to keep a spare. I’m on my third one in two years. Home video or pro class equipment is just too expensive and bulky to use at karaoke gigs. Maybe one day I will find a HDMI splitter that is as compatible as this one, and that will last longer. But until then I’m getting another one of these. Fifteen bucks every year or so ain’t bad.

perfect for stremingIn my situation i had to stream some footage from my nintendo switch for my friend on discord (pc) to see while I play, but having another 3rd device was making my experience uncomfortable until i got this device. tThis device lets me stream on my pc what im doing, while playing it on my monitor for better resolution.
