I have had no problems with mine
if i turn the amp way up and then adjust the eq vol its harder to get any clipping (distortion). I have not gotten any clipping from the line-in to the eq. Its a balance between amp vol (background noise if to high), eq vol, eq band levels, and a line-in.

Distortion
Horrible distortion as volume increases

Don’t do it!!!!!!!!
Shipping was great however it’s a bottom of the barrel EQ! do yourself a favor and spend an extra 10 dollars to buy anything other than this one. Very cheaply made and to use the “fade” you have to add another amp witch defeats the the point of purchasing it. The other issue is “radio/cassette” or “cd” button! Cassette!!! Really!!!! also no fuse to protect your vehicle or the component.
