Audiobank EQ7 Apartment Install
I have the EQ7 installed in my apartment kitchen. All the parts came from Amazon. The 90 Watt Pyle Amp drives a pair of Bose 161 speakers that are on a pair of speaker stands also from Amazon. The EQ7 is driven by one of four computers; currently, my trusty, all be it old, Sony Vio. The output of the EQ7 goes to the Pyle amp, which in turn drives the speakers. My system IS NOT designed to be a ‘blaster’ type of system. As mentioned earlier, I live in an apartment with rather thin walls.Other components: Power supply – 12 volts/3A Rocker Switch Power Socket – BIQU 15A 250V HiLetgo DC 6.5-100V 0-20A LCD Display Digital Ammeter Voltmeter (built in shunt!!! Buen producto

Cheap but works
I’m using this in my car and the orange light matches my Mercedes’ orange lights which helps to tie it in and look natural. The sound is good but could probably be better with a much more expensive EQ. I was not interested in that on a 20+ year old car. Only gripe I have is that the knobs are tight when it’s cold and feels like they’re going to eventually break so if you forget to turn the volume down when you got out last time, it’s going to be loud and is not far to turn down when it’s cold.

Great at first
The product works great at first. The only immediate downside is the power supply creates a pop for the Onoff. The other audio components in my system had none of this. After I added this it created an on off noise. Yes I know you can use a relay to delay this in the Power order and allow the amps to shut off first.Second the volume control quit working or became staticky after 1 month of use. I would have to twist the knob quickly to restore function, not sure what the cause is.Sound quality was clear and boosted all the RCA voltage.Overall it was worth the $20-$30 I spent but it was not problem free.

Best Bang For The Money
I decided to go old school in my small system and picked up an old favorite cassette deck. Having two amps, one for 6.5s and other for bass, I needed an EQ to make adjustments since that old 1994 cassette deck has basicsettings.UPDATE: 8-9-2021Switched out decks and went with an old school Kenwood. Sounds fantastic with the EQThis EQ is awesome as I’m able to control my mids and highs plus manage my lows. For the money it’s an incredible EQ.
