Let me tell you this is a sweet board.
Let me tell you this is a sweet board…if you can get the firmware to update. because if you don’t the ipad app won’t work. I purchased mine with childlike excitement only to have my hopes smashed to the pavement like a downhill bike ride that got out of hand. I will give the rundown in great detail.1. The firmware can only be updated via the usb port via a flash drive that has been formated in Fatman 32 format by a PC or Mac and then reformatted by the board. ug! yes think bout that for a second.2. The boards are apparently finicky about which brand of flash drive works. According to allen and heath you should only use this (, flash drive because they know that it works and many don’t.3. It takes 5-7 buisness days to get a refund once they receive the defective board back because you went through every usb stick made to try and get it to work and eventually determined that the usb slot was defective. To summarize I like this board so much that I returned it and bought another. It’s functionality is similar to the sound craft si performer 3 I use every-week at church for less then half the price. The pre amps are quality, and you may hear people say all day how great the x32 is but they don’t work on real boards I promise you. This board sounds quite nice Sadly to say I have a gig coming up that I need the board so I am out 5 grand until the seller receives my defective board and refunds the first purchase.
