Nice for mini/micro FPV drones but idk what else you would use it for.I use this for making videos on my FPV drones and it works great overall. It weighs only 17g and has amazing video stabilization. The only issues I have are that it’s 1080p wide angle so when you want to shoot linear it’s going to be a lower resolution and while it looks ok on a small screen like a phone, it doesn’t look good at all on anything bigger like a pc monitor or TV. Also, the app is clearly geared towards apple users and tends to crash alot on Android. Honestly don’t see any other use for this camera outside of small drones. I could only see this price point worth it if it shot at 4k but I guess the technology just isn’t there yet.

Great potential, but the execution is disappointingI really want to like this camera. It has the right form factor and weight for sub-250g micro drones. BUT, even when set to record FPV mode (longer videos), this camera cannot reliably record multiple 2-minute videos with 1-2 minutes breaks in between for cooling off. After the first video or so, most of the time the camera shuts down mid-flight after 30-40 seconds, completely ruining the flight. It’s either a battery problem, a firmware bug, or an overheating problem — although the camera is always cool to the touch when it lands, so I don’t think it’s the latter. Using it onboard a drone always turns into a frustrating experience, when realizing that most of the cool footage the drone was supposed to capture was not recorded at all. Lots of “you’ve got to be kidding me” moments… 🙁 Overall a disappointing execution in spite of the camera’s great potential. Maybe they’ll address some of these issues in a future V2… For now I feel this doesn’t deserve more than 2 stars, because the core functionality this product is supposed to provide (i.e. video recording) is unreliable.

Great lightweight solution for a drone.Use it for micro drones. Not perfect by any means but a great tool in your toolbox.I only Use the app to configure. I usebpc for all editing and exporting.

Doesn’t connect with my iPhone 11pro, unable to get support from Insta360Tried to connect with Insta360 support, no luck. More than 3 hours wait time for support without response. Took my phone and camera to the Apple store and they tried very hard to get it to work, spent over half-hour with me working on it. Looking at app reviews on the apple store I’m not the only person with this issue.

Don’t buy the product from the sellerThe surface got very hot after using the product for a while. After I returned the product on 9/15, I still not get my refund back now (10/8). It is a bad experience for the purchasing and product. I am not recommend to buy the product from the seller.
