Works Great – No Audible Change in Sound QualityI’m actually using this switch with hard-to-drive headphones, so that on shutdown when the speaker amp caps discharge – my headphones don’t release a loud “BRAP” that might be damaging.Reading the many reviews about the protection button being backwards – I took out my multimeter before installing and confirmed that when the button is pushed IN, 3 ohm’s get added in series to whatever speakers (or headphones) are engaged. If the button is pushed OUT, then there’s no additional load – the resistor is out of the speaker path.I was initially concerned that the switch added noise or killed some treble, but after A/B testing today I can confirm that there’s no audio difference in my setup.I believe other folks’ reviews that build quality may be shoddy – but I apparently got a good one, it works exactly as it should and adds nothing to the music. I’m quite happy with this purchase.

Good Audio SwitchThis 4 selector switch replaced a similar unit that developed bleed thru on speakers when unselected. So far this one is perfect and the wiring terminals accept loose wire or banana plug. I have speakers in 4 locations in my garage and outdoors driven by a small amp that is underpowered to have them all on at same time.

Good looking speaker switch box, think we need a bigger amplifier to get the best out of it.Well built and nice looking, could use clearer instructions but does the job. Just think we need a bigger or additional amplifier to get the best results.

Great switcher and great valueAmazing speaker switcher. 6 pairs of speakers and 2 amplifiers. Can choose any combination. Very sturdy and heavy. Great deal.

Built like a tank. Works Great!Using this to control multi-zone room ceiling speakers. One Sonos amp and I can channel sound to 1 or more rooms. Sonos allows the sweet streaming and the controller does the rest!

Simple and efficient but lower qualityThe overall device is super easy and efficient BUT the switches in back that close on wire to hold in place are pretty cheap so be careful to not force it. Also works best 16 gauge or smaller. 14 is a big to big for it.

Word as describedEasy to hook up to my signal channel stereo. I liked how I could set up different sets of speakers in different areas and have sound coming from all of them or just one set.

Works just as expectedThe selector is pretty straight forward to hook up and seems to be working fine. The manual is pretty limited. There is a Protection button on the switch and the manual says almost nothing about what it’s purpose is. From contacting the manufacturer, the reply they sent was “The protection button will ensure that the audio output is smooth and clear. And this will prevent certain unwanted boost.” I still wasn’t sure what that meant. Basically I wanted to know if it was supposed to be on or off and what determined when it should be used. I asked more directly and was told “It will be your preference to turn off or on the protection. But it’s better to turn it on always to have protection full time.” Don’t know why the manual doesn’t say that.Update: The switcher is working fine, but not sure about the company. They say they will send you a free microphone if you leave a review. After you leave the review the microphones are “Out of Stock”. I’ll update if it ever shows up.
