A hybrid event: what is it?
The definition we presented at the table is as follows: Two events with joining features that offer equal weight to attendees who attend virtually and those who visit in person are called hybrid events.
Easy, isn’t it? Har.
To put it even more simply, it’s an event that individuals can participate in in person or virtually. A webcast of an in-person event is only one aspect of a hybrid event.
A hybrid event and a hybrid strategy are not the same thing. The majority of event professors employ some form of hybrid approach, but are you actually managing two related but distinct events?
