Industry insights: specialists discuss how event technology has evolved

Technology is used in events more than before. It covers a wide range of topics, including audio-visual equipment, the Metaverse, virtual event platforms, and more. Meeting audience expectations for event experiences and flexibility is frequently dependent on it. We asked four professionals in the field of event technology, who joined us to speak at International Confex, to share their tips with organizers on how to stay up to date with the rapidly changing field of event technology in this article.

Instead of trying out novel, untested tools, we still have a tendency to stick with what we know.
