Crazy Pizza Rolls Out Unified Audio Control With Allen & Heath AHM

International Restaurant Brand Crazy Pizza adopts Standardised Audio Platform

International restaurant brand Crazy Pizza is standardising audio management across its fast-growing estate using Allen & Heath AHM Audio Matrix Processors, in a multi-site deployment led by Italian systems integrator Vibra Service.

After three years working with the group behind Crazy Pizza, Vibra Service has made the Allen & Heath AHM platform the backbone of the restaurants’ sound systems, aiming to deliver consistent, flexible and easy-to-operate audio in every location.

Restaurant Network Deployment across Multiple European City Locations

The ongoing rollout covers new Crazy Pizza locations in London, Saint-Tropez, Monte Carlo, Porto Cervo, Milan and Rome, with more international venues expected to follow as the brand continues its expansion.

Several sites, including the London restaurant, are built around the Allen & Heath AHM-32, an audio processing engine that combines matrix processing, networking capability and support for third-party control. This provides a common technical platform that Vibra Service can replicate and adapt from venue to venue.

Audio Platform Choice and System Control Strategy

Vibra Service selected the AHM family based on long-term experience with Allen & Heath solutions and a need for rapid deployment and straightforward daily operation in hospitality environments.

Owner and Founder Stefano Lo Sardo describes the company’s approach as focused on simplicity and reliability, noting that Allen & Heath systems have been a trusted choice for Vibra Service for more than a decade.

A key part of the design is remote control of the AHM-32 via Allen & Heath’s Custom Control app. Crazy Pizza staff already use tablets for order management, so the same devices can be used to access essential audio functions, minimising additional hardware and training requirements.

Multi Zone Management For Differentiated Guest Experience

The deployment is less about solving a single technical problem and more about raising the level of audio management and operational flexibility available to restaurant teams.

Within each venue, the AHM platform is configured to manage multiple audio zones independently. Staff can adapt levels and balance between different areas, responding to varying customer expectations and occupancy patterns.

This approach is particularly important in environments where some guests may prefer a quieter dining space, while others expect a more energetic atmosphere. The ability to trim or boost volume zone by zone supports a broader range of guest preferences.

Vibra Service has also implemented separate control for subwoofers, giving operators precise management of low-frequency energy throughout each restaurant. This enables fine-tuning of the overall ambiance, from subtle background reinforcement to more impactful, bass-driven party settings.

Preset Architecture For Different Restaurant Use Cases

The AHM-32-based systems at Crazy Pizza locations are built around a library of customised presets, designed by Vibra Service to cover the restaurant’s main operating modes.

At the touch of a button, staff can recall presets tailored to distinct scenarios, including:

Each preset is programmed with specific EQ curves and system calibration profiles optimised for that use case. This ensures consistent performance from day to night and from one venue to another, while shielding non-technical staff from the complexity of detailed audio configuration.

Partnership Development In Wider Hospitality And Restaurant Market

The Crazy Pizza rollout is part of a broader collaboration between Vibra Service and Allen & Heath in the hospitality and bar sectors. Beyond this project, Vibra Service has specified the AHM-32 in other high-profile European venues, including La Rose Des Vents in Monte Carlo.

By deploying the same core processing platform across multiple concepts and cities, Vibra Service is building a repeatable model for scalable, user-focused audio in hospitality environments.

For Crazy Pizza, the AHM ecosystem provides a consistent technical foundation that can travel with the brand as it expands internationally, enabling operators to align sound and atmosphere closely with the guest experience in each space.
