New Smartphone Apps Make Public Events Easier

Sennheiser, a Germany-based manufacturer of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems, has partnered with researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute on a special project to develop smartphone apps that offer support for hearing impaired users via mobile applications for public events.

Sundance Film Festival showcases innovative 3D projection mapping

Rancho Cordova, Calif., USA – 4 April, 2013 – Visualization pioneer Barco supported Sundance Film Festival’s presentation of a unique 3D projection mapping show created by immersive video entertainment producer Klip Collective. First live pro sports event in virtual reality

The NBA will make history Tuesday as the league will become the first to broadcast a live professional sports game in virtual reality.

As the 2015-2016 season kicks off, the NBA, Turner Sports and NextVR will live stream opening night when the 2015 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors take on the New Orleans Pelicans.
